Metabo's Redesigned Swivel Vacuum Attachment for Grinders Allows for Dust-Free Cutting
New Dust Director Ideal for Brick and Mortar Applications

WEST CHESTER, PA, June 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, has redesigned its "Dust Director" tuck pointing guard for dust-free tuck pointing with diamond blades. This all-new vacuum attachment is ideal for meeting local regulations for dustless tuck pointing work and for creating a healthier work environment.

The Dust Director attaches to a heavy duty vacuum cleaner, such as Metabo's ASR 2050, as well as to most Metabo small angle grinders. Once attached, the Dust Director swivels as it approaches an inside corner to maintain and continue cutting depth, allowing for hassle-free dust collection and continued normal grinder operation.

The Dust Director allows for up to 1 3/16-inch depth of cut and fits Metabo's 4 1/2-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch angle grinders and accepts 4-inch, 4 1/2-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch diameter diamond blades.

The redesigned attachment has a 2-inch port and works best with vacuums that have dust collection bags due to the large amounts of dust collected. Vacuums attached to the Dust Director must have at least 120 CFM and a water lift capacity of 90 inches or more.
